The Business Development Executive will be responsible for developing and driving strategies that support revenue growth. The successful candidate will be required to identify and secure new business, build lasting relationships and grow sales The role involved collaborating with other teams and staying up to date with industry trends to ensure sales success.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Research and identify potential clients and identify decision makers
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
    • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets, expand the company’s reach, and identify industry verticals with high growth potential.
    • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals for the company’s products.
    • Negotiate and finalize sales contracts and agreements with customers.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, such as revenue, conversion rates, and pipeline growth, to identify areas for improvement.
    • Create annual and quarterly sales plans with detailed revenue projections.
    • Tracking and compiling reports on account progress, targets and forecasts,
    • Continuously adjust sales strategies based on performance data.
    • Lead and collaborate with the customer success team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Provide input on product development and enhancements based on customer feedback.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
    • 2-3 Years in a Business Development  Executive role
    • Strong understanding of the Saas Industry
    • Experience with CRM tools
    • Intermediate Excel skills.
    • A proven track record of retaining and growing client relationships.
Experience in presentation and negotiation of business solutions at senior management level

Our client, a very established and highly regarded private tertiary education institute who offer high level full time and part time qualifications are looking for a Business Development Consultant to join their team. This role specifically targets the corporate market and due to this, they require a candidate who has sold education or training to businesses rather than schools.
 
Responsible for prospecting for new corporate business, network & build relationships with potential new working students and corporate clients
Assisting students with course information and general queries
Generating new leads from corporate presentations, turning them into opportunities and converting into sales
Meeting with clients, both in and out of the office
Working towards KPI’s and achieving targets
 
Requirements:
  • Matric plus a completed degree (ideal)
  • 3 -5 years sales experience to a corporate market
  • You must have sold tertiary education, corporate training or a service to corporates
  • Stable track record and proven ability to reach targets
  • Own transport and a willingness to get out on the road and see clients face to face
 
On offer:
Salary on offer of between R23 – 28 000 Cost to Company, fuel for business will be covered by the company and you will receive an R800 cell/ data allowance. Commission structure in place.
