An exciting opportunity exists to join our Healthcare Client in Tanzania with full relocation support. They are looking for a strong Business Development Officer, reporting to the CEO/ Managing Director who will develop business within the country of Tanzania.
 
The Business Development Officer will focus on identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities to grow the startup health care. This role requires a forward-thinking individual with initial relationships with procurement of Hospitals and Pharmacies and also who can help expand the company’s market presence, build relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth through new business channels and partnerships.
 
Key Responsibilities:
    • Identify new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors to drive revenue growth
    • Develop and implement strategies to expand market share, including partnerships with healthcare providers, distributors, and retail chains
    • Build and maintain relationships with key industry players such as doctors, hospitals, and suppliers to increase the company’s client base
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
    • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to launch new products and services
    • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that business development efforts align with the company’s capacity and resources
    • Report regularly on business development activities, sales growth, and new opportunities to the CEO
    • Attend industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to promote the company
 
Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
    • 3+ years of experience in business development within the pharmacy or healthcare industry
    • Proven track record in building partnerships and driving business growth
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
    • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and initiative  
    • Ability to relocate to Tanzania within 4 weeks of application

An exciting opportunity exists to join our Aviation Client in Tanzania with full relocation support. They are looking for a strong Chief Business Officer who will be responsible for managing overall business operations, driving strategic growth, and overseeing the sales department to enhance revenue performance.
 
The CBO will also act as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, providing critical support in business decisions and daily management while ensuring alignment of operations, sales strategies, and market expansion efforts.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and execution of the company’s business strategy in alignment with the company’s long-term goals
  • Manage and lead the sales department, driving sales strategies, monitoring performance, and ensuring revenue targets are met
  • Act as Executive Assistant to the CEO, providing support in managing day-to-day activities, strategic planning, and decision-making processes
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand into new markets and service offerings, including international opportunities
  • Ensure that business operations and sales strategies are running smoothly and aligned with both financial and strategic objectives
  • Assist the CEO in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring business objectives are met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, marketing, and legal departments, to align operations with strategic goals
  • Support the CEO in preparing for board meetings, investor presentations, and high-level business engagements
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, operations, and executive support within the aviation industry.
  • Strong leadership, operational, and decision-making skills with a focus on business growth and strategic alignment.

  • Ability to work strategically with senior leadership and external partners.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to assist the CEO in day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to relocate within 4 weeks to Tanzania.
