Our client, a leading manufacturer and distributor of polymer sheet materials and complimentary LED Lighting solutions are looking for a Customer Engagement/ Internal Sales Consultant to join their dynamic, fast paced team based in Chloorkop.
 
You will deal with customers telephonically and this is an office based position. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to have a meaningful conversation with clients over the phone. The products are technical and you need to wrap your head around things like polymers and plastic sheeting like HDPE (High-density polyethylene), its applications and uses. You must come from a technical environment so you can easily get to grips with this kind of product.
 
You will work hand in hand with the warehouse and logistics to make sure orders are effectively fulfilled. You will be able to drive product sales of stagnant stock to customers and the external sales team. You will be able to work with and understand a stock sheet.
 
Requirements:
At least 3  – 5 years experience in an internal customer interfacing position
Experience working in a technical environment such as signage, manufacturing, plastics or the like
You must be able to discuss and sell the product options and their applications to other technically minded people (this is not a simple case of taking down an order and processing it)
You must have worked with a warehouse and logistics department
Own transport essential
 
On offer:
Salary will be based on your current earnings and experience levels. We will consider candidates within the range of R25 – 35 000. This is an office based position with no work from home or hybrid options.
 

Sales Manager

Our client, a supplier of flavours, fragrances, speciality ingredients and custom orders for the Food Manufacturing Industry are looking for a Sales Manager to join their team.
The candidate will be responsible for managing, developing and directing the team of 3 sales reps and 2 support staff to maximize sales through leveraging strong business relationships. In alignment with the company strategy, the Sales Manager must ensure the team attains or exceeds the agreed sales volumes and monthly budgets for the designated products.
Key performance areas will include Team coaching and effectiveness management, working in-field with the sales team on a weekly basis, managing own strategic and very specific key accounts, developing a territory action plan and providing leadership and management of the plan, maintaining effective admin systems and control, personal effectiveness and alignment of company values, customer complaint reporting and health and safety.
Requirements:
5 years sales experience
A minimum of 3 years management experience of a sales team is required
Industry experience, you must have sold a similar product or sold to the food manufacturing industry
Own transport
Salary on offer:
A reasonable market related salary on offer. For recruitment purposes, we will consider candidates with current earnings of R50 000 and up. Offers will be based on current earnings and in line with experience and will be at the sole discretion of the hiring company.
