Our client, a Marketing company based in Century City Cape Town is looking for a Telephone Sales Consultant to join their team. This a contract with a possibility of permanent position. The position is an onsite and full-time role, working United States Hours.
 
The ideal candidate needs to be self-motivated, energetic, well organised, and customer centric. You will need to be a good communicator and able to generate leads within the United States Market.  The candidate is expected to provide SMS marketing solutions for every customer to boost revenue growth.
 
Duties
    • Generating leads & meetings, striving to meet & exceed sales targets daily.
    • Determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
    • Conduct discussions with prospective clients over the phone to identify and qualify opportunities.
    • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.

Minimum Requirements
    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • Marketing Degree (Advantageous)
    • 2 years’ experience in a new business and sales environment with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.  
    • Strong command of the English language
    • Customer service
    • Takes ownership and accountability
    • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook, numerical skills)
    • Excellent Telephone Etiquette
 
On Offer
R 14 000 Basic Salary, that includes Night travel allowance. Commission structure will be discussed at interview level. Training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Your role is to identify opportunities, expand the customer base and build momentum in the regions of Central South Africa. Establish strong relationships with customers at multiple levels of the business. Understand the market and provide reports applying an effective strategy with the goal to drive sustainable financial growth focusing on our engineering products and locally manufactured products.
 
  • Secure new business for the company in accordance with the sales strategy, developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Understand and interpret potential clients’ agreed services and cost requirements, translating their requirements into concise, motivating proposals and presentations.
  • Engage and build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Identify new products and solutions to add to the portfolio
  • Submit weekly planning reports, monthly sales reports and analysis, and forecasts whilst maintaining a market intelligence system
 
Requirements:
You must have at least 3 -5 years professional sales experience and a sales track record of success
You must have sold a similar technical product and ideally have called on the polymer/ plastic manufacturing sector

Basic earnings up to R35 000 (Please note, offers will be based on your current earnings and experience so it is not guaranteed that the offer will be the full amount and this will be at the discretion of the hiring company).

Our client, a leading manufacturer and distributor of polymer sheet materials and complimentary LED Lighting solutions are looking for a Customer Engagement/ Internal Sales Consultant to join their dynamic, fast paced team in Montegue Gardens, CPT.
 
You will deal with customers telephonically and this is an office based position. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to have a meaningful conversation with clients over the phone. The products are technical and you need to wrap your head around things like polymers and plastic sheeting like HDPE (High-density polyethylene), its applications and uses. You must come from a technical environment so you can easily get to grips with this kind of product.
 
You will work hand in hand with the warehouse and logistics to make sure orders are effectively fulfilled. You will be able to drive product sales of stagnant stock to customers and the external sales team. You will be able to work with and understand a stock sheet.
 
Requirements:
At least 3  – 5 years experience in an internal customer interfacing position
Experience working in a technical environment such as signage, manufacturing, plastics or the like
You must be able to discuss and sell the product options and their applications to other technically minded people (this is not a simple case of taking down an order and processing it)
You must have worked with a warehouse and logistics department
Own transport essential
 
On offer:
Salary will be based on your current earnings and experience levels. We will consider candidates within the range of R25 – 35 000. This is an office based position with no work from home or hybrid options.
